In these terms and conditions the following definitions apply:
- Cooling-off period: the period within which the consumer can exercise his right of withdrawal.
- Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the course of a profession or business and who enters into a distance agreement with the trader.
- Day: calendar day.
- Long-term transaction: a distance agreement relating to a series of products and/or services, the obligation to deliver and/or purchase being spread over time.
- Durable medium: any means that enables the consumer or trader to store information addressed to him personally in a way that allows future reference and unchanged reproduction of the stored information.
- Right of withdrawal: the option for the consumer to withdraw from the distance agreement within the cooling-off period.
- Model form: the model withdrawal form that the trader makes available and that a consumer can fill in when he wishes to exercise his right of withdrawal.
- Trader: the natural or legal person who offers products and/or services to consumers at a distance.
- Distance agreement: an agreement in which, within the framework of a system organised by the trader for the distance selling of products and/or services, only one or more techniques for distance communication are used up to and including the conclusion of the agreement.
- Technique for distance communication: a means that can be used to conclude an agreement without the consumer and trader being in the same room at the same time.
- Terms and Conditions: these Terms and Conditions of the trader.
